What are the figures made from?
All figurines and cake toppers are made from Polymer Clay. I mainly use the brands, Fimo and Sculpey, which are both safe and non-toxic.
Will the topper disintegrate / fade?
No. The clay is fired, allowing it to set and harden meaning it will last forever. At an extra cost, the topper can be varnished which will prevent the colour fading over time.
I want to order a personalised cake topper and have sent an enquiry email. What happens next?
Once I have received your query, I will discuss your requirements with you and give you a detailed quote breakdown.
If you wish to go ahead with the topper, I will put your order into my diary (approximately 6 weeks before your event date) and I ask for a 10% deposit (payable via bank transfer or PayPal) for orders over £100. Once I have received this, I will ask you for as much detail as possible about the occasion.
At 6 weeks before, I will send you a friendly reminder about sending over photographs of aspects you want included in the topper. I will send you a list of the things I require (depending on your occasion). This will allow me to create a topper which is personal to you and your requirements.
How far in advance do I need to place my order?
I recommend booking as far in advance as you can, as some months of the year are much busier than others! The more time I have to work on your order... the better! If you need a topper for a quick turnaround, please contact me and I will try my best to squeeze you into my diary.
How long will it take to make my topper?
This really depends on each individual topper. For example - a 1 person topper will take roughly 2 days to make. For multiple figures (e.g. a bride and groom) will take anywhere between 3 to 5 days.

I'm not 100% sure about what I / my partner will be wearing on our wedding day / anniversary. Is this ok?
Of course! When you first make your booking, I only need to know how many figures (adults and children), type and number of pets, type and number of props etc. 6 weeks prior to your booking date, I will send you a friendly reminder asking for finer details, such as clothes, hairstyles and any extra props.
What happens when you have finished making the topper?
Throughout the making of the topper, I will send you regular updates. I always send a photo of the topper before it is fired to make sure that you are happy with the design, as once it is fired, nothing else can be added or removed from the topper.
Once your topper has been fully completed, I send finished photographs and I will send an invoice for full payment before it is shipped!
When do I need to pay for my topper?
At the time of booking, a non refundable 10% deposit is required to secure your booking.
Full payment is required ASAP once it has been completed before it will be shipped out to you. Failure to pay on time will result in the order being cancelled and either the topper being kept for display or sold on.
Clients who wish to pay monthly rather than in a lump sum must contact us to inform us of this decision.
How much is postage and packaging?
Postage and packaging is charged at £10 for UK orders. This price includes be shipped using the Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm and packaging costs. At this moment in time. I am unable to ship overseas.
All toppers are packaged to the highest standard: bubble wrapped and packaged into a double-walled cardboard box with polystyrene chips to ensure it is protected during transit. Gift wrapping and personalised gift boxes can be accommodated at an extra cost. Please contact us for more info.
How will I receive my topper?
It will be sent via Royal Mail using First Class Recorded delivery. I will email you with the tracking number once it has been posted so that you can follow its journey to you!
Do you ship worldwide?
At the moment, no. However, this is something we hope to offer in the future.
